Abstract

PURPOSE This study investigated the relationship between fan involvement, fan attraction, fan identity and fan loyalty in Chinese Super Football League (CSL). METHOD Based on the background of Watching Chinese Super League matches in China, 319 fans of six football teams were surveyed online. RESULT The degree of first fan involvement has a significant positive effect on fan attraction and fan identification. Secondly, fan attraction and fan identification have significant influence on loyalty intention. Thirdly, the degree of fan involvement has no significant effect on loyalty, while fan attraction and fan identity play a significant mediating role between them. CONCLUSION In order to strengthen the influence of CSL, various policies should be formulated to strengthen the fan identity and fan attraction which affect the loyalty. In addition, policies to strengthen incentives and address constraints should be implemented.

Abstract

PURPOSE The main objective of this study was to validate the structural equation model of customer risk perception, satisfaction, and behavioral intention at Shenyang trampoline theme park. METHOD Study subjects included participants at six trampoline subject parks in Shenyang City. In this study, 312 questionnaires were distributed, 31 invalid questionnaires were removed for reasons such as being incomplete or incorrect. A total of 281 questionnaires were collected and used for analyses performed using SPSS 2.4 and Amos for hypothesis testing. Collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling methods. RESULT Study results found (1) risk prevention had a direct effect on revisit intention and recommendation intention, and (2) the relationship between risk prevention and behavioral intention was moderated by satisfaction. CONCLUSION These findings confirm the importance of risk prevention, satisfaction and behavioral intentions in the recreational sport industry, which relevant management organizers should focus on and make practical efforts from multiple foundational aspects such as facilities, management, funding, It is expected that this study will contribute to the development of sport leisure industry. At the same time, this study also has limitations. Firstly, the study sample was only from Shenyang City and may not be representative of the rest of China. Samples could be collected in more regions in the future to improve the validity of the model. Secondly, only satisfaction was used as a mediator, and it is suggested that other variables could be added as mediating variables through questionnaires and a SPSS analysis to better explore the relationship between risk prevention, satisfaction, and behavioral intentions.

Abstract

PURPOSE Based on theoretical evidence and literature review, this study proposes research hypotheses and establishes a structural equation model (SEM) that includes variables such as social support, physical activity, loneliness, subjective well-being, and well-dying. METHOD The research was using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, and the subjects are Chinese older adults over 65 years old. A total of 730 valid questionnaires are recovered. RESULT Results show that, each item of the factor loading between .700 to .910 of the structural equation model, and the model fitting index is good. The path coefficients reach significance level, and the mediation effect test shows that physical activity by two variables loneliness and subjective well-being have obvious effects on well-dying, these indicate that the hypothesis of this study have been accepted. CONCLUSION The relationship between variables can be expressed as: social support and physical activity have a positive influence on the loneliness and subjective well-being older adults, while loneliness has a negative influence on the subjective well-being and well-dying of older adults. Social support subjective well-being and physical activity have direct or indirect positive effects on well-dying. Among these variables, loneliness has a significant influence on well-dying awareness of older adults, and subjective well-being is another important factor, loneliness is also a key variable that reduces the subjective well-being and quality of life of older adults, and the lack of necessary social support is the main cause for the loneliness of older adults.
